We brought the Squaredelles to market a few years ago. Since that time they have become very popular, inspiring many knock-offs. Upon close inspection however, you will notice many deficiencies in quality from the imitations.

Imitation Squaredelle

• Notice how the crystals are not set flush against the metal work.
• The lip of the metalwork covers more of the crystal.
• See how there are sizable gaps between the crystals.
• Their metal work has dents and imperfections. The raw metal they start with has uneven thicknesses.
• Many of the imitators use inferior quality crystal from China or Egypt.
• The edges are sharp which causes the corners to snag on clothing.
• The polish on the imitation is dull.

• This variety is not functional because the metal work wraps around the crystal.This creates waves in the metal which prevents beads from sitting up against the Squaredelle.

The Original Squaredelle The crystals are all set flush against the metal work. The lip of our metalwork is smaller so it showcases more of the crystal. There are no noticeable gaps between the crystals. The metal work is flush and even all the way around. The metal used in our Squaredelles comes from Italy and has uniform thickness which leads to a better quality finished product. The crystals are all the highest quality Austrian crystal. The polish on our squaredelles is shinier.
