Our seed beads start out as a Rocaille (round) bead and then have a single facet applied to them. These are known as Charlottes, One Cuts, or True Cuts. The beads are manufactured in the Czech Republic.

What makes these charlottes really special is the durable, high quality metallic coating that is bonded in Italy. There are other seed beads out there with metallic luster applied that are cheaper, but beware because the finish wears off very easily. If you are looking for a metallic finish that will stand the test of time you will be very happy with our Charlottes.
